Raazi Trailer – Leaves you Speechless!!!!

Here I come with the Trailer review of film Raazi Directed by Meghna Gulzar staring Alia Bhat and Vicky Kaushal. This movie is an official adaption of Harinder S Sikka’s 2008 novel Calling Sehmat and Raazi is all set to hit the Silver screen on 11th of May.

The story:

Harinder S Sikka, a former Indian Navy Officer claims that his novel is based on true events of a Muslim Women from Kashmir who turned into an undercover agent during Indo-Pak war being married off to Pakistani Army Captain to provide information across the border.  It is believed that the information acquired from her helped the Indian government and INS Vikrant.

Trailer Review:

The trailer starts with Sehmat Khan (played by Alia Bhat ) being asked by her father Hidayat khan to be the ‘eyes and ears’ for her nation and then we can see Sehmat’s Transformation as a fearless spy. The trailer takes different turns showcasing her journey as a Daughter, as a wife and as a Spy.

The much-awaited trailer leaves us Speechless because of its Captivating plot line and Star cast. Alia Bhat as Sehmat Khan and Vicky Kaushal as Iqbal are paired opposite each other for the first time ever and also movie stars other talented actors like Rajit Kapur as Hidayat Khan, Shishir Kapoor as Brigadier Sayed, Jaideep Ahlawat as Khalid Mir and Alia’s real-life Mother Soni Razdan as Teji. With such an amazing Star cast, the movie will surely give you Goosebumps.



We can see Alia Bhat as Sehmat Khan portraying Dual roles as an Obedient daughter and as a loving wife, beautifully expressing her emotions convincing the audience that she is just perfect for sehmat’s role. The Talented actor Vicky Kaushal earlier seen in the movieMasan also delivered his wonderful acting skills portraying the character of a loving husband and sincere Pakistani army officer. The other characters in the movie will surely make the movie go up a notch from what we are expecting out of it.

At the end of the trailer, we can see Alia Bhat holding a pistol and says ‘Vathan se aage kuch nahi’ will make you feel Sehmat’s Commitment and Love towards her nation.

Meanwhile, Alia in an interview to a leading daily revealed how her parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, reacted to the movie.

She said, “My parents have been very involved with Raazi. My mother (Soni Razdan) has even acted in the film. They’ve both seen the trailer. The first time my dad (Mahesh Bhatt) saw the trailer, he was sitting a little away from our dining area and watching it intently on his laptop. Suddenly, we heard a whistle. That’s how we knew he’s liked it. Though my mother has acted in the film, she had tears in her eyes when she saw the trailer. She said, ‘It’s very moving and gritty.’’ Not only Alia’s parents, Whole Bollywood and social media are praising her performance.

Final Verdict

From the trailer, we can make sure that Meghna Gulzar leaves no stone unturned to deliver the best of best to the audience and it’s the perfect blend of Love, Betrayal, Sacrifice, and Patriotism.
